How is 187N different from building this in Zapier or Make?
Zapier and Make rent you brittle, if-this-then-that automations that stop the moment the vendor changes pricing or you cancel. 187N builds an owned operations layer inside your own environment — agents that reason, handle edge cases, and write back to your tools — that stays yours, compounds quarter after quarter, and never walks out the door with a vendor.
How do I connect an integration to 187N?
During the build we connect each tool through its native API or an MCP — Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Slack, Stripe and 300+ more — scoped to least-privilege access inside your environment. You keep the keys; every call is logged with an audit trail.
How does pricing work for integrations?
Integrations aren't metered per-connection. They're part of the owned build, scoped on your audit call against one anchor: a new hire is $65,000+/year, every year — this is one-time, and you own it.
What can 187N do once integrations are connected?
Agents read live data, take action and write back — resolving tickets, recovering carts, QA-ing ads, reordering stock, reconciling payments — all visible in one owned view, Mission Control. Your team keeps the exceptions; the agents take the rest.
What are Knowledge Hubs, and how do they relate to integrations?
Knowledge Hubs are the owned memory of your operation — playbooks, SOPs, brand rules and edge cases that agents read from. Integrations feed them live data; the Hubs keep agents acting in your voice and within your policy as the operation changes.
Which integrations does 187N support out of the box?
187N connects to commerce (Shopify), marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo), payments (Stripe, PayPal), messaging (Slack, Telegram), and data tools (Notion, Airtable, Supabase, ClickUp). Custom APIs and MCP connectors are added during your build for anything outside the standard stack.
Do integrations run in my cloud or on 187N servers?
In your cloud. Agents call your tools from infrastructure you control — your AWS or GCP account, your API keys, your region. 187N does not hold a copy of your customer data or run integrations on shared vendor infrastructure.
How long does it take to wire up integrations?
Most builds connect core integrations within the first week. Complex multi-system flows are scoped on the audit call and documented in the build spec before development starts, so you know exactly what ships on day seven.
Can agents write back to my tools, not just read?
Yes. Two-way sync is the default. Agents resolve tickets in Gorgias, update records in Airtable, pause ad campaigns in Meta, trigger Klaviyo flows, and post briefs to Slack — always within permissions you define before deploy.
What happens if an integration API changes?
Because the code lives in your repo, your team or 187N under maintenance can update connectors without waiting on a SaaS vendor. Changes ship as reviewed pull requests with rollback procedures documented in your runbook.
How are integration credentials secured?
Credentials are stored in your cloud secret manager, scoped per agent and per integration with least-privilege access. No secrets in code, no standing 187N access after handoff unless you grant it under maintenance.
Can I add new integrations after the initial build?
Yes. New tools are added as scoped connectors in your repo — same audit trail, same approval rails. Many clients expand department by department: support first, then email retention, then ads QA.
Deploy. Own. Compound.
